Communication
Communication is complex. It happens with and without words. Gestures, facial expressions, tone of voice, and other factors play a key role in what we “send” and “receive”, as well. That is why my services on learning and communicating in German and in English intentionally are not only language courses. The focus is on developing one’s own communication skills in the respective language. In addition to developing your language skills, my services follow your intended communication goals and purposes, while considering the specific settings in which we communicate, individual and group-related aspects, continually seeking to reach understanding.
In addition to language training, we integrate coaching elements in our work, as learning a language and communication is also linked to reflecting on attitudes and perspectives toward ourselves and others. Reflection and flexibility on these levels, regarding intercultural communication, as well, make learning a language and developing language skills a more holistic approach.
